Eight days a week!

The Beatles
The Beatles,
originally uploaded by wastedpapiers.
Good news! Karin the photographer just phoned to say that my collages had turned up after 8 days lost in the post! I was just about to give up on them and send her another package of work to photograph so good job she phoned when she did!
This Beatles collage to celebrate the 30th anniverary of the release of Love Me Do was one of the lost and now found. I hope she can take a better photo than the wonkey one here!
Have been helping Hazel hoover and tidy up today for impending arrival of my sister Barb and her hubby Des on Wednesday. They are staying a couple of nights before travelling back to Basildon via Nottingham where they will pick up Des's Mum. I've not seen the place looking so spotless and clean. It takes the threat of guests to get us rattling the dust pan and brush!

Great news that your work was found...have new-found faith in the postal service! AND saves you lots of extra work! Oh, nothing like company arriving to get a cleaning frenzy going...which is why we don't have company more often!Funny though, Jon & I never "assigned" household tasks, and it just worked out that the things he "enjoys" doing, I would put off to doomsday...and vice versa. So it works. Hope it is a very pleasant visit with your brother & sis-in-law...From our time there, I know they all will be spoiled & entertained!

Oh, the picture of the collage was a little dark to really tell much...Love the Beatles so if you can get a brighter pic would be great.

Yes, the beatles collage doesnt look that great here but just trying out the different sizes I can do with the Flickr doodahs. maybe show it again at a later date. or if it turns out better in the slides, postcard (maybe?) then you'll see it then I'm sure. Hazel starts to panic when visitors are imminent. Its all hands to the wheel! Thankfully the weather is a bit more pleasant this week so no problem with rain like last month.

We've only visited you twice and each time your house was spotless and the very model of orderliness and a kind of twentieth-century decorative minimalism.
Of course, when we visit you on January 1st 2005 I dare say your house will be as neat and tidy as always.

I think you must be confusing us with some other people?!

Beatles collage postcard? Wundervar!

I only say 'might' be a postcard. nothing is settled yet although the Beatles collage is my favourite to be turned into a postcard - that's why i made it in the first place. Boomerang turned their noses up so maybe it's destined for somewhere else?

Maybe you could do a Mighty Molecules postcard.

I shall work on it straight away! Expect it in the post very soon! Might be hard to stick a stamp on it though!
