Corn and River Dane

We are lucky to live so close to the country although it's been chipped away gradually with green belt having horrible housing estates built upon them.  10 minutes walk away is the River Dane and some tranquil fishing ponds.  Very quiet on Sunday mornings - not even any fishermen these days - because of Covid I guess.  No heron today but a cauliflower sheep in the woody bit back up the slope to the park.  The cornfield was much the same - all the beards going brown now and due for harvesting.  A bit boggy round that area so didn't venture too far.
