Sorry for delay in adding to this blog as BT have blocked our Broadband signal for some reason ( sheer stupidity?) and have been three days trying to get them to turn it bcak on again - well, actually its more complicated than that! I tried to configure a wireless router for the new PC and thats when it all went pearshaped. Ive taken the whole useless Linksys mess back to Dixons! Worthless peice of junk!
So I imagined I'd altered some settings when the signal went so phoned the BT "Helpline" (hah!) who passed me along the line and round in circles for a good few hours, getting no where. So thats it in a nut shell. The curse of technology.
Hopefully it will be on when I return home but doubt it. So if you dont hear from me for a while you'll know the reason why.

I had problems with BT broadband too. Changing from debiting a credit card to a normal direct debit confused them totally. They couldn't be bothered to take any money and then blamed us for not paying the bill! We rang them twice after getting threatening letters and both times were told it was a mistake and it shouldn't have happened. Third time they cut us off. So we went over to Virgin instead. Still get adverts in the post from BT -them saying how great they think they are though. Idiots. I hate BT.
hello groc..Michael is getting very angry and frustrated with BT..we will take a look at Virgin and swap..BT have been soooooo unhelpful..and the money we pay them for the priviledge...
I will tell Mickel..they expect you to be your own engineer...unscrewing boxes.they will have us up telegraph poles next!!
Still in the library. Its a bit crowded in here and I would rather be at home. Hopefully soon. I cant belive how stupid BT are and quite devious in luring customers onto their premium rate tech helplines! GGrrrrrrr! steam shoots out of ears etc.
