Early Morning Walk
This mornings early walk to Carey Park and through to the Ashton and Neumann's Flashes. Some interesting industrial history discovered. Boiling hot already at 8-15am. Went into town afterwards to collect pills from pharmacy - luckily it was empty. Hazel went off to the post office and do get a few bits from various shops. She bought some disposable masks. She prefers these as they don't steam her glasses up! I sat outside the Santander for her to turn up watching the various motley shoppers in various summer clobber and face mask accoutriments.

Birthday Treats
Lovely walk to Marbury for my birthday. Old bones creaking around the woods and fields. Some nice presents and cards from family and friends. New balloon pump for the collection ( we have 6 now ) from Archie, also excellent Gasper Nali vinyl LP. Viewmaster 3-D viewer and pile of discs from Hazel. Lots of other treats. Nice to chat to Archie via Zoom. Hazel made a scrummy choc cake and explosive candle! Nearly singed my eyebrows!
