Waffle
I noticed whilst researching the date of the Knutsford woggle sale by the scouts that my past blogging efforts were a lot more chatty and descriptive. I guess I have less to say as I get older or maybe I'm more lazy? Anyway chucks - will try to waffle a bit more in this post - not that anyone is that bothered!? This fuzzy photo gleaned from the interweb is a selection of rubber stamps used in mail art circles. It has my hand carved postman in it. One of the first I made back in the early 80's when it was fun and new and exciting - discovering new addresses to write to and the postage was cheap. I do still carve a stamp when the mood takes me but not as much fun now my eyes are not as sharp as they were. I have to use a magnifying glass illuminated doo dad.
Its the bank hoilday today and wondering if we are going to a boot sale. Thats why I was looking up the Knutsford woggle sale. Seems they were in early September so maybe none today. Only the big one at Adams near thingy which is far too big and full of professionals who take to same stuff every week. Its the Blakemere next week which is far more interesting - smaller with folkd who have cleared out their sheds and lofts so more variety and usually a lot cheaper as people want shot of it and don't want to take it home again. Have a good day whatever you do!

West Wales
Some photos from our recent trip to Wales. A nice time with old chums Linda and Ivor in Dolgellau. Stayed in the usual B&B and enjoyed trips to Barmouth, Bala and Ruthin. Nice walks down the country lanes - picking black berries and to the Torrent for a picnic. etc. To Fairborne for an ice cream on the windy beach. Lots of nice meals and chats with our hosts and their menagerie.

Walk To River Dane
This mornings walk to the Community Orchard and the fishing ponds. No bread this time but the duckies kept following us around the pond looking hopeful. Very sunny and warm. Brught blue sky. Good to get out before it got really hot. The maize is gettig quite high now. High as an elephants eye. Home for collaging and lunch.

Walk Behind The Tip
Nice walk behind the tip down the Old Warrington Road. Lots of runners but we managed to avoid them. Saw some fun guys. Lots of dogs. Trod in some poop. Duh! Afterwards went to tip to dump some garden waste and an old printer. Exciting eh?
