Happy Birdbaths To Me

Archie made this animated card for my 60th birthday. I love his sense of comic timing.

We tried to drive to Crewe this morning but got caught up in the traffic to the Cheshire Show which brought the A556 to a standstill. We drove over to pick up Audrey and she waited in Lostock for 30 minutes by the side of the road - being offered assistance by passing neighbours who thought she needed a chair or help crossing the road! Eventually we picked her up and drove into town instead . The rain held off thankfully. Did the usual tour of charity shops and the library etc. I bought a packet of pitted prunes and the papers.

Mickel knows how to celebrate...a bowl of prunes!
Keeps him regular!!
Glad you are getting lots of rest Adele...you soon won't be! Exciting times ahead.

Happy 60th Michael!
(Hilarious animated card from Archie - sounding in fine voice)
Enjoy the day!

Yes, I know how to celebrate birthdays! Pitted prunes are great on muesli I find- also chopped dried apricots. Yum!

It wasa nice day despite being a bit of a shocker of a landmark! Just back from a delicious vegetable curry at the Bengal Dynasty. Feel absolutely stuffed now. Maybe off to Chester tomorrow to get a new CD recorder as my old one is kaput.

Happy birthday Michael! I missed it! Well then, we'll have to have a belated birthday party over at Scrapiteria for you.

That film is hillarious! Great job Archie!

Micheal-
this one seemed to work...
Happy Birthday!!!!
60, is it???
4 more years for me.
(shouldn't that be "prunes in the bowel"???)
Best to everyone.
Jonathan

Thanks all for the nice and amusing comments. It certainly makes me feel better about getting to such a ripe old age. I think the card that my Auntie Ol' Wine (85) sent sums it up pretty well " Remember- the secret to looking young and handsome - hang around with old ugly people!"

I'm late too! A belated Happy Birthday, Michael. I loved the card. Archie is a very clever boy. This is my year, too...in Sept.

P.S. I'm signed in above with Nan, but it's me...Cate. Didn't want to confuse you now that you're sixty.

Thanks Cate. Much appreciated.

The curry house is the Bengal Dynasty which is a rather strange looking communal hall looking building behind the Black Greyhound, Hall Lane in Wincham. Theres a review of it in this weeks Northwich Guardian. page 41.
